Travel Restrictions/Guideline of The Maldives

  • Maldives government has revoked the state of Public Health Emergency regarding COVID-19 pandemic on 13th March 2022. Thus, negative PCR test result is not mandatory for arrival and departure to the country. This is applicable for unvaccinated tourists as well.
  • Travel-related quarantine is no longer required.
  • The Maldives extends 30-day valid tourist visa for all tourist arrivals to the country. To be eligible for the visa, the following documents must be submitted:
    • Confirmed hotel booking
    • Submit IMUGA health self-declaration form 48 hours before arrival to the Maldives
    • The online form can be submitted via Imuga - Maldives Immigration
    • Note: The certificate received after filling the form is valid up to 24 hours
  • Submission of the Imuga form is required for exit from the country.

Split Stay and Day Visits

Can I do split stay and day visits?
  • Split stay and day visits are permitted according to the guidelines of the Maldives Health Protection Agency (HPA)
  • The resort offers PCR testing service at the resort clinic for $70 per person per test

      In The Event Of Positive Cases
      Should a guest display symptom of COVID-19, in accordance with HPA guideline the guest is required to undergo testing. If the results are PCR positive, the guest will be relocated to the resort’s quarantine facility or official government facility recognised by HPA. Although it is regrettable that our guest’s vacation may have been disrupted, your health and safety remain our top priority, and we are devoted to providing the best medical treatment and recovery facilities available.
